I've only eaten there 2-3 times, but taste and quality of the food and service has always been consistently top rated as far as I'm concerned. The food is delicious and fulfilling. When I picked up my food, I was greeted with a smile which kinda personalized my presence there. It wasn't one of those fake used car salesman smile. It felt genuine.

Pho Tai has always been consistent. I remember when they first opened a while back. When my family is in town, we usually go here. I ended up getting a number 6. The broth is good and the noodle portion is decent! The meat portion is a little small, but it doesnt matter because it's overall decent. Inside is small, but the windows make it feel hella bigger than it is. The place gets pretty hot, but they usually open the doors for the breeze to come through. All the servers there are pretty nice and I think they're cool. Parking is a bit rough, but you should be able to secure a spot.

Always on their best! The food, ambiance, cleanliness and the friendliness of the employees. This has place has been the top of my line. This is my first review but i have been in this place a dozen times more. If you are craving for Vietnamese food and passed by close to the freeway area (whether the I-92 or I-880). You got this on the bag!

I'm surprised Pho Tai in Hayward only has 3.3 stars because it's an absolute staple Vietnamese restaurant with all my favorites. Quick and simple, they nail the essentials every time. We live around the corner and frequent this place often, usually sticking to our tried-and-true order. As a family, we typically go for the #1 large pho bowl with extra lime and basil, a kids' chicken pho, and a pork chop rice plate with crispy fried egg rolls. This time, feeling adventurous, I decided to try the vermicelli bowl with grilled pork chops. Maybe I was extra hungry that day, but the portion seemed smaller than I expected. It felt like I got just one pork chop instead of two, leaving me wanting more. It was good, though, and I would definitely order it again--this time with an extra pork chop. They always grill them to perfection, sweet and savory, just how I love them! We also added shrimp spring rolls to our order this time. Surprisingly, our little one enjoyed them, though I think she was more into the sweet peanut butter "dip dip," as she calls it. Despite the low rating, we'll keep coming here for a light, refreshing meal. Pho Tai, you've got us hooked!
